Crée en Octobre 2007 sur les cendres encore fumantes de BLUTCH, Nice Line Line est un projet initié par Evan Hodge (ex John Shelly and the Creatures) et Emmanuel Lissandre. Un groupe franco-irlandais basé sur Cork, rassemblant en son sein des membres de Ted or Alive records, z(h)ot, Julip et the Chapters. Après plusieurs EP à tendance pop-folk, Nice Line Line décide avec cet album de renouer avec la powerpop des familles. Entre Foo Fighters, Leathrface ou Afghan Whigs pour un côtéplus grungy dans l'âme. Il aura fallu trois ans et une foule de dates en Irlande, Angleterre, Pays de Galles, Ecosse, Slovenie, Serbie pour enfin retrouver ces 9 morceaux sur une seule et même galette. On notera par ailleurs la présence de Damian Lawry derrière les fûts, plus connu pour son travail de graphiste pour des groupes comme Biffy Clyro. Enregistré à la maison, masterisé en Ecosse, tout ça dans la douleur, Nice Line Line définitivement splitté en Juin 2011, après de nombreux laïus. L'aventure se poursuit dans Master & Dog, probable future signature de Distorded Records.
